Managing Freelancing Projects

This course will prepare you for managing freelancing projects, from sourcing clients through project completion and payment.

Introduction to Managing Freelancing Projects

Gain an introduction to what it means to work with clients and manage projects, including the stakeholders and why this course is important.

Lesson 2

Creating a Process to Source Clients

This lesson will help you source clients for your digital freelancing business, including using freelancing platforms and social media and sending expressions of interest.

Lesson 3

Negotiate a Project Scope and a Pricing Framework

Scoping a project, selecting the right pricing framework for a job, service agreements and project structures are all things that will be covered in this lesson.

Lesson 4

Managing Projects

Learn best practices for communicating with clients and managing projects. By the end of this lesson, you will be familiar with some project management tools and run through a few scenarios.

Lesson 5

Completing Projects

Being able to communicate the completion of project deliverables and securing payment are necessary components of freelancing projects and will be covered by this lesson.

Lesson 6 • Project

Working with a Mock Client

This project will give you the opportunity to demonstrate the skills you've learned in this course by working with a mock client to practice the initial communication stages.
