The best affiliate marketing course for you depends on two things: whether you want a free or paid course, and whether you want to earn with content and SEO or with paid ads. For a free start with content and SEO, take our Free Affiliate Marketing Course or Great Learning’s course, which includes a free certificate. For paid ads, Voluum’s Affiliate Academy is free. When you’re ready for a complete strategy, our Affiliate Marketing Course ($60, or $127 with all 21 of our courses) and Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing are the paid options we recommend.
We’ve been earning affiliate commissions on this website for years, and we checked every course on this list on its provider’s own page for its price, length and certificate.

How To Choose An Affiliate Marketing Course
Start with two questions:
Do you want a free or a paid course?
- Free: start with our Free Affiliate Marketing Course, Great Learning, Simplilearn or Alison. Great Learning and Simplilearn include a free certificate.
- Paid: choose a paid course when you’re ready to build a real affiliate business and want a complete strategy. Look for a money-back guarantee.
Do you want to earn with content and SEO, or with paid ads?
- Content and SEO: most courses on this list teach you to build a website or blog that earns commissions from search traffic. Our courses, Ahrefs, Udemy and the two paid blogging courses fit here.
- Paid ads: Voluum’s Affiliate Academy teaches you to promote offers with paid traffic.
- You run a business: Acadium teaches you to launch your own affiliate program.
Also check that the course is recent, that the instructor earns from affiliate marketing, and that it doesn’t promise easy money. Our guide on whether affiliate marketing is legit explains the red flags.
Are Affiliate Marketing Courses Worth It?
A good affiliate marketing course is worth it if you put the lessons into practice. It saves you from learning by trial and error, and it shows you a proven process: choosing a niche, finding programs, creating content and getting traffic.
Start with a free course to learn how affiliate marketing works. Move to a paid course when you’re ready to build your own site or channel and want a complete strategy. When you’re choosing products to promote, our list of the best high-ticket affiliate programs shows which programs pay the most.

How We Chose These Courses
We looked for courses that give beginners a practical, step-by-step plan, not just theory, from instructors and academies with a track record in affiliate marketing.
We checked every course on the provider’s own page for its price, length and certificate, and we removed courses that are no longer sold. We included free and paid options, and courses for content and SEO, paid ads and businesses.
We’ve been doing affiliate marketing on this website for years and created our own courses, so we know what a beginner needs from a course: clear steps that work in real life.
